Aunt Polly’s Molded Cranberry Salad

Mom gave this one to me; it was in Aunt Polly’s handwriting on some recipe cards. At the bottom of the card was a blank that said, “Who likes it?” and Aunt Polly had written, “Who dosen’t?” (sic)

1 can cranberry sauce 1 cup chopped celery
¾ cups boiling water ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1 pack cherry jello 1 small can crushed pineapple

Combine. Let cool. Add celery, nuts, pineapple with juice and all.

That was all she had written in the way of directions. I suppose you’d have to pour it into a greased mold at some point, and then you’d have to chill it in the fridge before you turned it out. I don’t know; I’m just guessing.
