Pumpkin Smoothie
Great for the holidays! And it’s really good.
4-5 pitted dates
1 banana
1 1/2 cups canned pure pumpkin (NOT pie filling)
1 tsp. cinnamon*
1/2 tsp. allspice *
1/2 tsp. nutmeg*
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup chopped walnut or pecans (optional)
* or 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Blend all ingredients except nuts in a blender or smoothie maker until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and sprinkle chopped nut on top if desired.
