The old faithful standby. Always a Christmas time favorite.
½ cup butter 1 (6 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips*
1½ cups graham cracker crumbs 1 (3½ oz.) bag flaked coconut
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 for glass dish). In a 13x9inch baking dish, melt butter in heated oven. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over melted butter; mix together and press into bottom of the dish. Pour Eagle Brand mild evenly over the crumb mixture. Top evenly with chocolate chips, coconut and nuts; press down firmly. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool thoroughly, then cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
*Substitute 1 cup M&M plain chocolate candies for the chips and make Rainbow Cookie Bars.
