2¼ cups flour 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda 2 large eggs
¼ tsp. salt 2 cups (12 oz.) white chips
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 1 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
¾ cup sugar
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa, soda and salt. In another smaller bowl, beat butter, sugars, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Fold in chips and nuts. Drop by large tablespoon or ice cream scoop onto parchment lined baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes, then remove with a spatula.
