Marge Thompson’s Butter Cake

I found this type-written recipe in an old cookbook Mom gave me. I have no idea who Marge Thompson is.

1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix 4 eggs
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix 1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup dry sherry nutmeg

Bake at 325 degrees in Bundt pan for 45 to 50 minutes. Glaze while hot with mixture of 1 tbsp. butter, 1 cup powdered sugar, and enough water to make it runny.

Gotta love the intricate directions included on these old recipes, don’tcha!
