Italian Margaritas

This one’s for Mary Laurie.

½ cup course sea or kosher salt
1 (12 oz.) package frozen Bacardi Margarita mix
½ the empty margarita mix canister good quality tequila
¼ the empty margarita mix canister Amaretto liqueur
Juice from 3 limes
Ice

Sprinkle a couple tablespoons of course salt onto a flat saucer. Wet the rim of a 4 martini glasses and invert, rimming the glasses with salt. Into a blender, empty the margarita mix. Use the empty canister to measure the tequila and amaretto; add to blender. Add lime juice and enough ice to fill the blender. Blend at high speed. Carefully pour or spoon into the prepared glasses. Garnish with lime twists.
