Save on expensive infused or flavored vodka by making your own.
Cut fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs or anything else you can think (limes, lemons, pears, vanilla beans, basil leaves; be creative) of into ¼” chunks, or peelings from fruit. Place in clean glass jar with a tight-fitting lid (I recycle dip or olive jars) and cover with good quality vodka. Cover tightly, and place in fridge for 3-7 days. Remove the flavoring and label. Keeps in fridge indefinitely.
