Introduction
I set out to write this book for the boys as they prepared to move out on their own, so to speak. But I’d been toying with the idea of a cookbook for several years as I slowly abandoning the idea of composing the Great American Novel. It’s been lots of fun, and I got lots of help along the way. Of course, Reese contributed the most, being the chef extraordinaire, and I couldn’t have done it without him. I tried to include as many family recipes as I could remember, but I’d really like to get my hands on Nanny’s “Cincinnati Fried Chicken” recipe. Anybody remember that one? I just remember that there was no chicken involved! Anyway, as our family continues to grow, I’m hoping we can add to the cookbook with many new and delicious recipes.
This is a very rough draft, so if you come across something that needs changing, I think I’ve set this up so everyone can edit. If you have a recipe you’d like to add—go ahead! That’s what this cookbook is all about! One of these days, I’ll get around to publishing it all in a bound book, but until then—
Enjoy!

Whoot! I’m so excited about my “mounds” being published. It’s a dream come true!

YES!!! I’m gonna include it, but I’ll NEVER serve it! Definetly not on my diet.
